Come celebrate Earth Day at Muhlenberg College! The Environmental Action Team is hosting local businesses and organizations under the theme of environmental justice and sustainability.

Outside the Student Union, community members will table for alternative agriculture, vertical farming, social and environmental justice, nutrition, local produce and more!

At 2:30PM, a free gardening class will be held in the Community Garden on Chew St.

At 4:00PM Hamilton Brower, founder of Stand Up 4 Health, will give a talk in the Event Space on social agency and the tools needed to overcome fear and transform that energy into positive momentum. The talk will cover sustainability, environmental realities, forming actionable objectives and acting on those objectives. “It’s about each individual standing up and acting.” -Mr. Brower
