Volunteer for the Sierra Club at the Step Outdoors Lehigh Valley Festival at ArtsQuest Center in Bethlehem, PA on June 2nd from 10 am – 5 pm

What will you be helping with?
At our tent, help the Sierra Club teach children and their families how aquatic insects that live in the local creeks and rivers can inform them about the water’s health. Using simple magnifying lenses, we will examine these amazing critters and discuss how they help scientists understand water quality. We’ll have colorful identification cards and charts to help us.

What time should I be there?
As the festival goes all day, we are asking volunteers to let us know what shifts they are interested in helping with. Let us know by email which shift you’d like.

10:00 am – 12:00 pm
12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

 

Qualifications:

Must not mind aquatic insects.
No skills required.
Minimum age: 18
