We are looking for mature, responsible individuals with prior horse experience to be horse leaders during our riding lessons. Horse leaders play a vital role in our lessons and in providing the rider with a positive riding experience. A horse leader takes charge of and is responsible for the horse throughout an entire riding lesson until released of his/her duty by the lesson instructor.

All horse leaders must be at least 16 years old and are required to attend one of the mandatory training sessions that are offered at HHTLC throughout the year.

Short stretches of jogging may be required. We appreciate volunteers with a warm heart and a friendly smile.
