Four Green Technologies Growing Fast Enough To Achieve Zero-Emissions World, IEA Says
An International Energy Agency official claims that there are four sustainable innovations that are on track to “do their part in a zero-carbon-emissions world by mid-century”: electric vehicles, energy storage, solar photovoltaic power, and wind power. This year marks the first time any of these green technologies are on track, which is an important step towards a more sustainable future – but according to Eric Masenet, the head of IEA’s Energy Demand Technology Unit, in order to prevent “widespread disruption of life on earth, societies need more than just solar PV and wind”.
