Downtown Bethlehem Historic District Clean-Up
April 29 from 8 AM – 11 AM
Keep our star of a city shining bright!
The Downtown Bethlehem Association is seeking volunteers for the annual Historic District Cleanup on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 8:00am – 11:00am. The purpose of this event is to encourage community involvement in keeping our city’s Historic District beautiful, clean and inviting for everyone! Volunteers are needed to help pick up litter, clean out planters, and plant new flowers for spring. We will be meeting at the Sun Inn Courtyard at 556 Main Street at 8am for refreshments and to hand out clean-up supplies provided by the DBA and its sponsors. From there, groups will be assigned to different areas of the Historic District to help pick litter and clean out planters.
The annual Historic District Cleanup consists of many local high schools, residents, church groups, clubs, organizations and merchants joining the effort to help beautify our downtown. All ages are welcome. Individuals, scouting groups and environmental clubs, are invited to be part of this effort. VOLUNTEERS UNDER 16 YEARS OF AGE MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. Gloves, trash bags and safety equipment will be provided. Join your neighbors in helping to make a difference in our community!
