Approximately 1 billion birds die each year in the U.S. from collisions with glass. Why is that? The simple answer is that birds cannot see glass. So what can be done? Dr. Klem, the Sarkis Acopian Professor of Ornithology and Conservation Biology at Muhlenberg College and a world expert on the topic, will discuss what he’s learned in his 40+ years of research.
